Under this initiative, the aim is to promote climate resilient agriculture through agroecological approach in the rural blocks (Shirur and Velhe) of Pune district. Under this project, 1 lakh Moringa plantation, lead farmer model as well as nutrition garden with the women is to be done with the small landholders. The vision is to revive the forgotten foods, promote locally available nutritious millets and other plants and value added products to ensurenutritional and income security of the community. The lead farmers will practice integrated farming in their field and encourage other farmers to efficiently utilise the resources for farming in circular agriculture.
